How to use it
- Tick Also record my microphone if you want to add your voice.
- Press Start recording. Choose a screen, a window or a tab in the box of your browser.
- To record the sound of a tab or of the system, tick the sound box in the same dialog.
- Press Stop recording when you are done. You can also press Stop sharing in the bar of your browser.
- Look at the preview. Then press Download.
What the page records
Your browser asks you what to share: the whole screen, one window or one tab. The page records only that.
The page cannot see your screen before you choose, and it cannot record without your permission.
Sound
Chrome and Edge can add the sound of a tab or of the system. Firefox and Safari record the picture only.
The microphone is a separate choice. The page mixes it with the sound of the share into one track.
The type of the file
The page makes an MP4 file where your browser can write one. Other browsers make a WebM file.
A WebM file does not play in every app. Press Convert to MP4 here to change it on this page.
Limits
The recording is kept in the memory of your browser until you download it. A very long recording can use a lot of memory.
Phones cannot record the screen from a web page. Use a computer.

How do I record the sound of my computer?
In Chrome or Edge, tick the sound box in the share dialog. Tick Also record my microphone to add your voice.
Why can I not record on my phone?
Phone browsers do not let a web page record the screen. Use a computer with Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
Why is my recording a WebM file?
Your browser cannot write MP4 in this case. Press Convert to MP4 here, and the page changes the file in your browser.
How do I stop the recording?
Press Stop recording. You can also press Stop sharing in the bar of your browser. Both end the recording.
